Dr. Hurst will be happy to answer questions about our denomination or about our congregation. He would be glad to describe to you our church’s radically inclusive welcome for all persons regardless of race, theology, gender identity, or socio-economic status. Dr. Hurst is also open to pastoral concerns you might like to discuss with him.

If you ask, we’ll try to introduce you to a member who can personally address questions you have: for example, questions about your right to your own sexual orientation, your independence in matters of belief and interpretation of the Bible or concerns about mental illness or any other subject that may have left you feeling less than welcome at a church. Let us know where you’re coming from and we’ll try to find someone who can relate, and who can tell you how United Church will welcome you.
