Fellowship

The United Church of Huntsville is truly a family. Families like to share meals together and United Church is no exception. Each Sunday following worship we meet in Fellowship Hall for coffee, light snacks and conversation. We eat our way through the usual number of potlucks and enjoy “Who Dunnit?” mystery dinners (fundraisers). Our most recent was in February, 2008, featuring a mystery at a high school reunion, along with a silent auction, a great dinner, and lots of fun.

We also have Disciple Dog Sundays (starring the Disciple Dog himself!) and the Christmas Wassail Bowl. There is fun and much more..

Our fellowship extends far beyond that. Each weekday morning folks drop in at the church to walk (health!) and talk (aided by coffee). People are present for others. When individuals or families need help, others pitch in to listen, deliver meals, or drive to doctors’ appointments – whatever we can offer.
