United Church Breakfast Club

Young at Heart is a group open to all that loves to get together to socialize, travel, and eat. We meet for breakfast once a month on the third Saturday. We talk about where and when we can go on our next excursion. We plan trips to visit sights, see a play or musical performance, or just go somewhere out of the ordinary for dinner. Sometimes we act as “grandparents”, and all borrow a child for the day and visit someplace special.

A very rewarding mission of the United Church Breakfast Club is sending “care” packages to members of our armed forces overseas. Everyone is invited to donate items for these packages and the club packs and ships them overseas. The letters we receive in return are very special and let us know how much the goodies we send are appreciated.

This group invites all interested to join them. We even treat newcomers to their first breakfast!
