Worship is central to the life of our congregation. We are led by the scripture through study and worship.
Worship at United Church of Huntsville is innovative. There are two distinct styles of worship on Sunday mornings. The 9AM service is informal and member-led, and the 11AM service is more traditional. We celebrate communion on the First Sunday of each month at our 11 am service. We practice an open communion table and invite all visitors to participate. Children's Church is conducted during the 11AM service for children in grades K-6.
The music ministry of United Church performs a wide variety of music from Bach to jazz. Instrumentation varies from organ and piano to drums and bells. Sermons are based on the lectionary and may be supported with multimedia illustrations.
