Worship
Worship is central to the life of our congregation. We are led by the scripture through study and worship. Sermons are based on the lectionary and are supported with multimedia illustrations.
11AM Sunday Worship Service
The 11AM worship service follows a traditional order of worship. There is a children’s sermon and an opportunity for the congregation to share their joys and concerns. There is always music – either from the choir, the bell choir, the organist, and/or from individual members of the congregation. We use a more traditional style of music in this service including anthems and familiar hymns.
You are welcome to gather for coffee, snacks and fellowship after the service.
Children's Church
Children’s Church begins during the 11AM service.
Special Events for children are provided periodically to include an Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, Vacation Bible School and Christmas activities.
Adult Sunday School (10AM)
Sunday School for adults meets from 10AM until 10:50AM. The Adult Sunday School class studies books such as , "Apocalypse: Controversies and Meaning in Western History," by Professor Craig R. Koester from the Luther Seminary. This book went through the Book of Revelations in depth to determine all the symbolism and meanings within it and how it has impacted the history of western civilization. It was not the typical conservative interpretation and included exciting discussions! All are welcome.
Contact the church to learn more about the current topics of discussion.
