Worship is central to the life of our congregation.  We are led by the scripture through study and worship. Sermons are based on the lectionary and are supported with multimedia illustrations.

9AM Sunday Worship Service

The 9AM worship service is held in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday morning. This service is a small group, usually in casual dress, enjoying a heartfelt worship experience.

It is a great opportunity to sing praise music and newer hymns. Words to the music and visual images may be projected on the wall behind the song leader as we sing. There is a time provided to voice individual joys and concerns. Multi-media, slides, photos, and video may be used in this member-led worship service.

You are welcome to gather for coffee, snacks, and fellowship after the service.

11AM Sunday Worship Service

The 11AM worship service follows a traditional order of worship. There is a children’s sermon and an opportunity for the congregation to share their joys and concerns. There is always music – either from the choir, the bell choir, the organist, and/or from individual members of the congregation. We use a more traditional style of music in this service including anthems and familiar hymns.

You are welcome to gather for coffee, snacks and fellowship after the service.

Children's Church

Children’s Church begins during the 11AM service.  Children stay in the sanctuary until after the Children’s Sermon, about 10 minutes.  Then they are dismissed to their Sunday School classes.

Special Events for children are provided periodically to include an Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, Vacation Bible School and Christmas activities.

Adult Sunday School (10AM)

Sunday School for adults meets from 10AM until 10:50AM.  The Adult Sunday School class studies books such as , "Apocalypse:  Controversies and Meaning in Western History," by Professor Craig R. Koester from the Luther Seminary.  This book went through the Book of Revelations in depth to determine all the symbolism and meanings within it and how it has impacted the history of western civilization.  It was not the typical conservative interpretation and included exciting discussions!  All are welcome.
